Experience

Levi joined Mātai Chambers as a Law Clerk in early 2022, having graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Criminology major). He was admitted to the New Zealand Bar in November 2022, and now works for Mark Ryan as an Employed Barrister.

Levi has prior experience in banking, and worked as a Fraud Investigator before joining Mātai Chambers.

Interests

Levi is passionate about social justice and has volunteered throughout university and work doing outreach programmes in prisons and the community.

Instructions

Levi regularly appears in the District Court and High Court. Since joining Mātai, he has gained experience working on a range of issues for cases in the District and Appellate Courts, including murder and serious drug offending. Levi is available for private instructions.
